Established in 1988, Motionhouse is one of the leading dance theatre companies in the UK. Their most recent theatre production, Scattered, has been touring since 2009 and has thrilled audiences throughout the UK, Europe, and China. Performed on a giant curved floor like a snowboard half-pipe, Scattered explores the relationship with water in an ingenious collaboration with Logela Multimedia from the Basque region of Spain. The mix of magical film and daring dancing creates an extraordinary world in which the dancers move seamlessly in, on and through images of cascading waterfalls, rainstorms, arctic wastes and desert landscapes. This tour will be Motionhouse’s American debut. You really have to see this to believe it!
