At the Preconference for the ABA-GPSolo/GLSA 2016 Joint Spring Meeting in Key West, a panel of experts will discuss the 2015 Obergefell vs Hodges ruling (legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide) as it pertains to the practice of law, the impact of the law on society and justice movements, and the psychology of LGBT clients and their attorneys. Particular attention is given to questions about the ruling raised by plan, solo and small firm attorneys and the general public, who will all be present to advance the discourse on Obergefell vs Hodges’ implications during the Q&A that follows the roundtable discussion. Experts will remain available for 20 minutes after the Q&A for book signings and small group discussions.
