Big Ruby's Guesthouse Key West

My partner and I took our annual vacation to Key West in Aug/2009. We stayed at Big Ruby's for the first time. The location was GREAT, just a block from Duval Street and just a couple blocks from the heart of the Gay district. The "made to order" breakfast was WONDERFUL!! The only negative was that the room we had (poolside) was not as nice as other guesthouses for the price. Yes we plan on staying there again next year, maybe must another room.

My partner and I stayed there for a week and had a great time. From the time of arrival the friendly staff greated us with a glass of wine and helped us to our room which was very nice, tastefully decorated, great washroom and view of this hidden gem. It's right off of Duval in the heart of the action. We met the nicest people staying there from all over the world. Our friends who were staying at a much larger hotel came by to visit and had wished they had booked there. Great food, friendly and accomodating staff. This is the only place we will stay at when we return to Key West. We recommend it!!

My partner and I stayed at Big Ruby's in May of this year. It was absloutely wonderful. The staff went way beyond what we expected and they were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was served just like we were in a restaurant and with Mimosis too. We have stayed at other gay places in Key West and Big Ruby's is the only place we will stay from now on.
