Visited only for a tour

This place is extremely nice from what we could tell on a tour. Kind a like a hotel, bar, gym, and bath house combined. The facility was clean and the staff friendly and hot. A festive place anyone could have fun at. Just from a tour and the friendly staff I have to give this a 4 star. Will review again when I return. They do have day passes.

Nicely Appointed Resort for Gay Men

I've stayed at the Island House several times, and each time the resort just seems a bit nicer than the last. The rooms are a bit small, but Hell, who's going to Key West to stay in their room?? The rooms are nicely appointed though, and the daily houseman service keeps everything very fresh. The best part of the resort is the beautiful pool and dining area. And the entire property except the gym is clothing optional (those pesky health codes apply to the gym), and whether you're going to just relax or going to cruise you'll definitely find your place. In addition to the pool there are two large jacuzzis, one indoor, and a steam room, sauna, and the ever-popular video room (if you have to ask, you don't need to know). Only drawback is that it's a bit of a hike back to Duval, which is the center of everything in Key West. But still totally walkable.

Ideal for some nude & rude!! ;-)

Stayed here with pals in a two bed apartment. The place was big enough for us all to enjoy our stay without treading on each others toes. Staff were very professional, food was great, accomodation was of a high standard and the visitors we got to know were of worldwide origin.

Dining with a view.

This was a great place to go for dinner. I was a bit surprised at the variety of food they served considering it is located in a Men's resort. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. The naked guys in the pool was a bonus to the tropical view.

Clothing Optional Resort

Awesome clothing option resort complete with very warm pool next to a bar and outdoor cafe that serves food 24 hours. Also has a sundeck, an indoor and out hot tub, steam room, sauna, workout facility and showers. You do not need to be a guest staying there to use the facility, eat at teh resturaunt or bars. Students with college ID's can get a free week pass to use. Food is actually very good, drinks are reasonably priced. Mixed ages in various states of undressed. Attitude free environment. Best gay resort ive been to, will be back. Spent more time here then the gay resort I was staying at.
