It's about to go STRAIGHT
We stayed at the Oasis/Coconut Grove for a week in July. I have stayed at Coconut Grove in the past. It is now one complex. All and all it's OK. Needs updating and cleaning a bit. They seem to just to be maintaining the basic. The pools were clean and the sex in the air was on high all week. The staff say it is about sold to a company the is going to update it and change to straight starting in October 2012. It needs the updating for sure..
Wonderful!
My partner and I stayed there for a week last month and had a great time. The room was immaculate and had all the desired conveniences, the grounds were beautifully landscaped and clean (poolservice was there every day to work until everything was perfect). The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be accomodating - many thanks to Gerry, Jorge, Dawson, Anthony and all the rest.. Can't wait to go back. It truly is an Oasis!
A taste of paradise
My partner and I Just spent our 3rd year down here in KW at the coconut grove. We have always had a great time and our yearly trip will certainly continue. The staff is amazing. From the time you check in and deal with Jorge the host, to the daily run ins with Charles the house boy, it's just a great place to be. The rooms are very comfortable and the grounds are very well maintained. It's not as rowdy as the Island House which is exactly what we were looking for when we 1st stayed here. Overall, I don't see anyplace giving you the comfort, cleanliness, and convenience you get from the Oasis/ Coconut Grove. We'll be back.
Refined elegance
I first stayed at the Oasis years ago when it was owned by Graham White who was former VP of Intercontential Hotels. He brought his flair and hospitality to the place and that still lingers today even after his passing. Its not a party place but very romantic and subtle. No orgy room like Island House has but you can meet quality people around the pool and at happy hour or breakfast.
